Written when Schubert was only 22, this Piano Quintet is one of the composer’s most popular pieces, owing to its famous
theme and variations on the lied Die forelle (The Trout).
A charming work that incorporates the double bass in an innovative way, it is performed by great musicians who come together specially for the occasion!
